About Me
I accidentally became an expatriate very young.
I studied Business Management & Entrepreneurship in UK. While at university, I worked as intern for IBM! But their graduate recruitment process was too long for me to wait after my graduation. At that moment, I was offered a job in Abu Dhabi to work in financial services which I could start immediately. Therefore from the bottom of the pile, I have since worked my way up to owner of a financial advisory firm with over 15 staff and offices in three continents.
Being an expatriate myself, I know perfectly what the expatriates concern about.
Being an expatriate working since young in financial service industry, I even know how to plan financially for the future wherever we expatriates will land and want to retire!
After 10+ years, I have accumulated plenty of knowledge of almost all existing financial plans. I can now balance the pros and cons of each investment. In many cases I pride myself on rescuing people from ‘bad advice’ to rectify their situation and get them back on track for a happy retirement. Although sometimes this is not easy, depending on how ‘bad’ the former advice was, yet there is inevitably always something that can be done!
